Vicky's School of Dance was founded in September 2001. Vicky Branton is the principal dance teacher and School owner. Vicky discovered from an early age that to teach dance was a passion and so decided to set up a school where to dance is fun and also to encourage pupils to push themselves to achieve success.

The classes operate from three venues; Bluebell Hill Village Hall, Hempstead Infants School and Dance Junction, Rochester

The School has built up a reputation for its students achieving high marks when taking their dance examinations via The United Kingdom Alliance (Professional Teachers of Dancing). This led to the School being awarded a Centenary Roll of Honor in May 2002.

This continued level of dance achievement, has resulted in the School participating in the annual British Dance Championships held at Blackpool Tower Ballrooms. The 2003 championships was the first time the' Bluebells' ( vickys school of dance formation teams) took to the floor. Since then we have gone from strength to strength. Our highest rank to date was being placed 5th in the juvenile 6/8 couple event. Visit - the Bluebells page to find out more about our formation teams

Throughout the year, the School enters pupils in many local dance competitions achieving a consistent high standard and impressive results. This can be solo's, pairs or teams in Ballroom, Latin, Disco and Rock and Roll.

Vickys School of Dance continues to go from strength to strength promoting dance within the Medway area and encouraging its pupils to reach their full potential with a strong sense of team work and self belief.
