The Bluebell Formation Teams

Within the dance school we are extremely proud to promote our Latin American formation teams, which we call The Bluebells.

Formation teams can consist of 8, 12 or 16 dancers, from the ages of 6 - 16. These dancers perform a routine made up of the five Latin dances forming different shapes and have the priveliage of competing at Blackpool Tower Ballroom every year.

From our first Blackpool in April 2003 our teams have gone from strength to strength and in April 2006 where our juvenile 8 couple team was placed 5th, which we feel is a massive achievment.

Dancing in a formation team creates many opportunities for pupils. It encourages team spirti and allows pupils to experiance the excitment that surround competitions. We are always looking for keen dancers no matter what there experiance or ability to come and join us. If you are interested please contact us!!

April 2003 - First Time Competing at British Open Formation Championships

April 2004 - Juvenile All Girl Team Reaches Semi-Final at Blackpool

April 2006 - Juvenile All Girl 8 Couple Team placed 5th at Blackpool

    - Juvenile All Girl 4 Couple Placed 8th at Blackpool

   - Juvenile 4 Couple Placed Placed 6th

April 2007 - Juvenille all girl 8 couple team through to the semi-finals at Blackpool

July 2008 - Juvenile All Girl wins Medway Cup

April 2009 - Juvenile All Girl Team reaches semi final at Blackpool

July 2009 - Juvenile HIgh School Musical team wins Medway cup Beginners section

We are lucky here at Vickys School of Dance to have a group of commited dancers which also come with dedicated parents. .
